This was the scene I had to look at for 3 days straight in Nice. The water really was that blue, and the beach really that beautiful. You might not be able to see it here, but it was all stones, so once one found a place to sit, one didn’t walk around much without shoes on. You also can’t see the airplane in thet upper left part of the sky; the Nice airport was right across the water, and I had fun watching the jets make their flight pattern turns.
